Leslie Brost unable to clear opening height in Pole Vault final at U.S. Olympic Trials

Eugene, OR – Former Bison Leslie Brost competed in the Pole Vault final at the U.S. Olympic Trials on Sunday.

The opening height was at 14 feet, five and a quarter inches.

She missed her first two attempts, but gets over on the third attempt, only to see the pole bump the bar on the way down.

She’s one of three to miss the opening height, still a great effort.
