GREENSBORO, N.C. — Rising senior Haze Farmer became the eighth All-American in Lake Hamilton track and field program history Sunday with a second-place finish in the pole vault event at the New Balance Outdoor National Track and Field Meet.

Haze Farmer represented the Arkansas Vault Club and vaulted 17 feet, 1 inch. He was only beaten by K.C. Lightfoot, of Missouri, who finished with a winning height of 18-0.5. The rest of the top seven, in order, included Nathan Stone, of Indiana, 16-5.25; Harrison Rice, Virginia, 16-5.25; Trevor Stephenson, Michigan, 16-5.25; and Spencer Evans, North Carolina, 16-1.25.
