Logan Kelley, entering his senior year at Valley Christian High in Arizona and representing Arizona Pole Vault Academy, won the boys high school section with a 17-foot clearance (5.18m) at the Vaulter Club Vaulter Magazine National Championships at the Big Red Barn facility in Sun City, Calif.

Kelley boasts the top clearance among athletes in the class of 2022 at 17-0.75 (5.20m), which he achieved June 19 at the USATF Arizona Youth National Tuneup at Westwood High, and became only the second prep athlete to produce a 17-foot effort at the Big Red Barn facility, following high school national winner Anthony Meacham of Woodsboro High in Texas clearing 17-2.75 (5.25m) last year.
