Celia Agee started training as a pole vaulter while she was in seventh grade at Louisa County Middle School.
Five years later, the senior track and field standout has no plans to stop after signing her National Letter of Intent to compete in the pole vault at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
“I am so excited to attend Appalachian State and even more excited to continue vaulting,” Agee said. “I know that I would not have been able to get this far without help from coaches, family and friends. This is just the beginning of a long college career of hard work and dedication.”
