Lincoln Young spent much of Saturday morning shedding layers of clothes and putting them back on soon after.
The Manhattan Christian senior juggled four events while dealing with sub-45 degree temperatures and chilly rain in Bozeman. When it was finally Young’s turn in pole vault, he had the bar set to 10 feet, more than 5 below his personal record. He won the event at the Distirct 11/12C meet rather easily, advanced to divisionals and saved his best for the next two weeks.
