The pole vault isn’t something a lot of people do. It’s not common like shooting hoops in the driveway, jogging a mile or engaging in a Wiffle Ball game.
The pole vault? It’s a different animal.
But no one told Nathaniel Bogan he couldn’t at least try. After all, he was only 46 years old. “I’d tried it one time, when I was a freshman in high school,” he said. “So there was a 30-year gap between my pole vaults.”
