Mondo Duplantis Wins Fourth Straight Indoor Title, Highlights Louisiana Indoor Championships

Mondo Duplantis capped off his state high school indoor career at the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Indoor Championships on Saturday, winning his fourth straight Division I title in the pole vault by clearing 18 feet, 8.25 inches inside Louisiana State University’s Field House in Baton Rouge. 

Of course, Duplantis’ indoor prep career isn’t done just yet. 

Over the next few weeks, the LSU signee will have a busy schedule, starting first with the World Indoor Championships in March competing for Sweden. The qualification period for the indoor championships began last January and Duplantis’ marks from the indoor and outdoor campaign earned him an auto-qualifier.
