HAYWARD, Calif. — Oregon Tech had seven national qualifying marks, including two which tied a school record, during its three days of competition at the first Mike Fanelli track and field classic which ended Saturday.

Klamath Union graduate Nishi Chase tied her school record in the women’s pole vault at 11 feet, 5¾ inches, which is a ‘B’ standard mark for the NAIA national outdoor championships scheduled for May 23-25 in humid Gulf Shores, Ala.
