Newark graduate Jordan Long recently vaulted herself to the top of the Ohio Athletic Conference.
Long, a senior at Otterbein, cleared a personal-best 11-feet-5 on her last attempt of the pole vault to take the title in the OAC meet on Feb. 22 at Ohio Northern. Long tied for third in the OAC indoor meet in 2012, then placed third in the outdoor meet.
