YNCHBURG, Va. — Junior Joe O’Connor (Henrico, Va./Douglas Freeman) won the pole vault with a school record mark of 4.86m (15’11.25″), as the Washington and Lee men’s track and field team sits in fourth out of nine teams after the day one of the Outdoor ODAC Championship hosted by Lynchburg on Friday.
Lynchburg leads the championship after day one with 79 points, Shenandoah is in second (48 points) and Bridgewater is third (28 points). The Generals have 21 points.
