Olympic Training Center Series Two Women’s Results

The Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California. Olympic Series Two held on May 3, 2012.

The weather was set, the viewers were poised, and the vaulter’s were ready to compete. One of the best kept secrets in Southern California is the pole vaulting event specifically held at the Olympic training Center in Chula Vista, California.

The Olympic Training Center provided a full list of women’s elite pole vaulter’s from across the country. Vaulter magazine was on hand to watch this full featured event and the women’s elite pole vaulting crew was on hand to represent.

The winner of the meet would go to Tori Pena, with a finishing height of 14 feet 3 1/2 inches – 4.36 m. Rounding off second place would be Kylie Hutson with along with Kelsie Hendry at the same height.

The event was a very tight knit gathering with a group of pole vaulting enthusiasts young and old a like.

The pole vaulting event will go on for the next few weeks on Thursdays at the Olympic Training Center starting at 3 PM.
