New Jersey –Pat Lynch, a junior at Cranford, continued his red hot vaulting this season by clearing 14-0 to claim first-place and earn a berth in the first ever high school pole vault at the Millrose Games during Thursday’s Marine Corps Holiday Classic at the 168th Street Armory in New York.
Lynch, who also made 14-0 when he won the PV at the Bishop Loughlin Games earlier this month at the NY Armory, matched his PR when he went over 14-0 on his first try using a pole he borrowed from Joe Crisp of Farrell, N.Y. Lynch, who won the competition on fewer misses, clinched a berth in the first ever high school Millrose Games, scheduled for Feb. 16 at the N.Y. Armory.
