Teenage pole vault sensation Olivia McTaggart continues to go from strength to strength.
The 16-year-old Auckland athlete equalled Olympic bronze medallist Eliza McCartney’s New Zealand secondary school’s record on Saturday.
McTaggart, who like McCartney is coached by Jeremy McColl, matched the Olympic bronze medallist’s mark of 4.10m at the NZ Secondary Schools Track and Field Championships but missed all three attempts at 4.15m in her bid to claim the record outright.
