Akron, Ohio – The Youngstown State men’s and women’s track and field teams picked four top-three finishes in Blue Division events on Friday afternoon at the Akron Invitational.
Freshman Blaine Brokschmidt finished as the runner-up in the pole vault after clearing the bar at personal-best height of 4.75m on his final attempt. Brokschmidt’s mark is tied for the fourth best in school history with fellow teammate Jett Murphy, who took third with height of 4.60m.
