Incredible pride and incredible happiness. Those were Auckland GP Donna Marshall’s first emotions when she saw daughter Eliza McCartney pole vault for a bronze medal at the Rio Olympics.
Dr Marshall, a GP at CityMed in central Auckland, is in Rio de Janeiro celebrating her daughter’s victory, but tells New Zealand Doctor she wants things to be “business as usual” when she returns next Monday.
