World record-holder Renaud Lavillenie will take on an all-star field in the men’s pole vault in this year’s Prefontaine Classic.
Joining Lavillenie are 2017 world outdoor champion Sam Kendricks, 2016 Olympic gold medalist Thiago Braz and high school star Mondo Duplantis, who owns the world junior record of 19 feet, 4 1/4 inches.
This year’s Prefontaine Classic takes place May 25-26 at Hayward Field in Eugene.
