Ethan Schad finished his climb to the top of the regional pole vault standings on Monday.
The Sauk Prairie senior won his first career regional pole vault title, clearing 13 feet, 3 inches to finish first in the WIAA Division 1 regional meet at Sauk Prairie High School. Schad has steadily climbed up the regional standings in the pole vault — finishing eighth as a freshman, third as a sophomore and second as a junior before winning the regional crown on Monday.
