HINGHAM — Haley Lightbody bounced up from the blue landing mat and smiled broadly.
The Reading junior hugged her mother, Shannon, as the two celebrated Lightbody’s personal best in the polt vault with a winning attempt of 11 feet, 6 inches to capture first place by a margin of two feet in the EMass Division 2 pole vault and pentathlon championships on Thursday at Notre Dame Academy.
