A record total of 52 pole vaulters participated in the fourth annual street vault Aug. 11 in the Gardner Elementary north parking lot.
Participants ranged in age 5 to 60 and several vaulters set personal bests. Strickers Auction provided the light tower for the event.
Former Gardner Edgerton High School track standout Casey Bowen set a new summer vault record of 17’ 6”.
