The San Diego State track and field team hosted its annual Red-Black All-Comers Meet on Saturday (Dec. 1) on the Aztrack Sports Deck. The 15-event, U.S.A. Track and Field sanctioned meet was also the second in the USATF San Diego-Imperial Association Winter Track Series. The Aztecs were some of 191 athletes who competed in the 15-event meet, up from 146 in 2011.SDSU once again divvied up into “Red” and “Black” teams and competed against each other for scoring purposes with the Black squad coming out on top by the slimmest of margins at 64-63. The meet came down to the last two events – long jump and 4×400-meter relay – before the black team captured another intrasquad title. Including athletes, spectators and volunteers, this year’s attendance was close to 300 people from ages 8 to 80.
