Olympic champion and Riga native Jenn Suhr took home the silver medal in the pole vault event at the world championships in Moscow, Russia Tuesday.

Russia’s Yelena Isinbayeva won the gold medal by clearing 16-feet-0 1/2 to beat Suhr. Yarisley Silva of Cuba took the bronze.  The silver and bronze medalists both had heights of 15-feet-9 ¾.

Isinbayeva plans to take a break for motherhood after the season but could come back for the 2015 world championships in Beijing or the 2016 Rio Olympics.
