Rochester, Minn –The Monroe Community Hospital Foundation together with the Rochester Rotary will be sponsoring this year’s opening performance of the Gala Holiday Pops Concert series featuring the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
This benefit concert will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in Kodak Hall at the Eastman Theatre located at 26 Gibbs Street in Rochester.Principal Pops Conductor Jeff Tyzik will lead the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra in a festive selection of holiday favorites, and the concert will also feature the Festival High School Chorale. During Thursday evening’s event, Olympic Gold Medalist Jenn Suhr will make a special appearance as guest conductor with the orchestra.
Discounted tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at all Wegmans locations and at the RPO Box Office or by calling 454-2100. All seats for the Thursday concert are priced at $45. The MCH Foundation is also offering a special price for select seats. If purchased at the MCH Foundation Office, all Grand Balcony tickets will be half price, while they last.
