Sophomore tops her pole vault mark for the second straight week

.For the second week in a row, Martina Schultze reset her school record in the pole vault, this time by just under an inch at 14-3.25 (4.35m), today at the Liberty Twilight at Matthes -Hopkins Track Complex.

As she did a week ago, the sophomore passed until all competitors in the event were already done. She then stepped in and cleared her first height on her first attempt and followed that up by sailing over the bar at the record-breaking mark of on her next vault. It was Schultze’s fourth win of the season and third since winning gold at the ACC Outdoor Championships.
