EASTON, Mass. (December 12, 2017) – Stonehill College’s women’s track and field freshman Alexandra Sexton (Los Gatos, California/Los Gatos) was tabbed the Northeast-10 ConferenceField Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference Tuesday morning.
Sexton participated in her second-collegiate meet this past weekend as the Skyhawks competed at the Husky Indoor Invitational on Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Center. The freshman finished second in pole vault, as she recorded a mark of 10 feet, 11.75 inches on her third attempt. The Los Gatos, California native broke the Stonehill College freshman record with the measurement, which was previously set by teammate Alison Tobin in 2015 with a mark of 10 feet.
