Shank vaults at Millrose Games

Kennedy Shank, daughter of Brian and Kim (College) Shank of Dillsburg and granddaughter of Durbin and Betty College of Waynesboro, competed in the pretigious 107th NYRR Millrose Games on Feb. 15 at the New Balance Track & Field Center in the Armory, New York City.

The Northern High School junior competes with the VaultWorX Pole Vault Club and is in the top 10 in the nation entered in the Junior Girls pole vault.

A PIAA state medalist and Northern’s record holder, Shank will also compete at nationals and the Penn Relays.

The only female pole vaulter from Pennsylvania to compete at Millrose, Shank cleared 12-1 3/4 at the games.
