SLO High’s Connor Hall breaks own school record in pole vault at 16-2

Duke-bound Connor Hall broke his own school record in the boys pole vault on Wednesday in San Luis Obispo High’s 82-58 Pac 7 League meet victory over Pioneer Valley.

The senior won the event with a top jump of 16 feet, 2 inches. He set the school mark of 16 feet at the Pac 7 League championships last season.

Hall’s mark ranks #1 in the state this outdoor season and #8 in the nation.

Connor also won the discus throw with a top mark of 149 feet.

The Tigers’ won three events by taking the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 meter runs.The SLO girls beat PV 94-29.
