ZURICH, Switzerland – Sondre Guttormsen of the Princeton University men’s track & field team shattered his Ivy League pole vault outdoor record Thursday at the Wanda Diamond League Meet.
Guttormsen cleared 5.86 meters, and along with breaking the Ivy and school records, also tied the Norwegian national record and finished second in the Diamond League Final. Guttormsen’s previous PR was 5.81 meters, and took place at the 2021 Chula Vista High Performance Meet.
