Pierre T.F. Riggs senior Sophie Bullard will take part in the Down Under Sports Track and Field Meet in Australia.
Bullard received a letter from Down Under Sports with an invitation to take part in the pole vaulting event. She was chosen to take part in the meet after finishing in third place at the Class AA State Tournament in May.
“When I got the letter, I took it as a good opportunity to travel and do a sport that I really enjoy, so I instantly asked my parents if I could go,” Bullard said. “I’m thinking it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
