(Tarkio) — East Atchison junior Gage McAdams goes for a third state championship in the pole vault this weekend.
Wolves boys track coach Aaron Behrens tells KMA Sports that McAdams has the chance to three-peat on Friday.
“He’s got the highest vault in our class,” Behrens said. “He doesn’t really care about other guys vaulting around him. He goes down to Kansas City every week and pushes himself. His goal is to get above 15 feet and challenge the state record.”
