KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Sophomore Emma Sullivan (Phoenixville, PA/Methacton) vaulted her way into the record books as she set the school record for the indoor pole vault in a new NCAA provisional mark on Saturday to highlight the Kutztown University women’s track and field team’s day of action at the Last Chance Invitational, hosted by Kutztown at the O’Pake Field House.

Sullivan set the new pinnacle in the pole vault for her mark of 11-10.50 (3.62m), taking down Kristi Braine’s height of 11-10 set in 2000. Sullivan’s previous-best was 11-08.50 set in 2013. Saturday’s mark also was an NCAA provisional, as she is the third female Golden Bear to post a provisional mark this season.
