TDK Corporation (TSE:6762), as an official World Athletics Partner, presents a prize money of USD 100,000 under the “New World Record Award” program to Armand Duplantis, Sweden who won the gold medal setting a new world record of Pole Vault at the World Athletics Championships Oregon22 which took place in the United States for the first time. In the awarding ceremony that took place after the competition on July 24 (Sunday), Duplantis was presented with a replica check for USD 100,000 with TDK’s company name printed from World Athletics President (hereinafter the “WA”), Sebastian Coe.
TDK has concluded an official partner contract with WA until 2029,and will continue to support the World Athletics Championships.
