Spring sports got off to a good start for Rush City on March 23 when the Tiger boys track and field team took champion and the girls, champion runner-up, at the Great River Conference Indoor. Senior Max Maher took first and broke the meet’s pole vault record with a jump of 13’ in the Foley Field House, while he also earned first in the long jump.
