Prime pole vaulting
The pole vault was one of the area’s premier events throughout the most recent indoor and outdoor seasons. Manheim Township’s Sydney Horn, an indoor state medalist last winter and an outdoor medalist in the spring, is among the top returning vaulters in the state. Some of the area’s top vaulters are set to compete in winter meets held at the VaultworX facility in Camp Hill and scheduled for Jan. 13 and Feb. 17.
