Seminole’s Alex Hindman thought he had it all figured out.
The recent high school graduate finished his Indians’ pole vaulting career with a fourth-place finish at the UIL Class 4A state track and field championships in May and was heading to the University of Sioux Falls on a pole-vaulting scholarship.
A week after the state meet however, Hindman found out that Sioux Falls head coach Reid Ehrisman had resigned — forcing the Seminole teenager to ponder his future.
