MASSILLON — Friday was another tough day for local athletes at the Division III Regional Track and Field Meet as Buckeye Trail High senior Emily Paden was the lone athlete to punch her ticket to Columbus as she won a jump-off to claim first place in the pole vault.
Paden’s winning effort of 10 foot, 6 inches tallied all 10 points for the Lady Warriors, who finished in 20th place.
Gilmour Academy took first in the girls’ standings with 84 points followed by McDonald (68.5), Malvern (42) and Ridgewood (42).
