UB Track And Field To Host Summer Pole Vault Clinic Series

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo track and field program announced their first-ever summer pole vault clinic series to be held at UB Stadium. The clinic series features eight days in July and August for local pole vault athletes between the ages of 12-18 to improve their skills.

The dates for the clinic series are July 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 31 and August 5, 7. Rain make-up dates will be held on August 12 and 14. All sessions will be held at 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at UB Stadium on the UB North Campus. The cost of the clinic is $50 per session or $300 for all eight sessions.

Conducting the clinics will be UB pole vault coach, Tiffany Maskulinski-Regdos, a MAC Champion in the pole vault and a NCAA competitor as a member of the Bulls track and field team. A Iroquois High School graduate, Maskulinski-Regdos set the National Junior High School record of 13’6″, and became the third US junior woman ever to clear the 14’00” mark. Also assisting in the clinic will be UB’s field events coach and former NCAA decathlete competitor, Steve Esler, along with current UB track and field student-athletes.

The focus of each clinic will be to improve the fundamentals of the approach, take-off and flight. Each participant will receive individualized coaching and attention during the two-hour long clinic. Entry is limited to only 12 participants per session, so make sure to sign up early to reserve your spot.
