Southwest Airlines made contact with Vaulter Magazine after coming across several of their social media posts regarding the transportation of pole vault poles. We are immensely grateful for the valuable input received from everyone involved.

In the email, it was mentioned, “Starting soon, there will be a new $35 charge per Air Waybill (AWB) for shipments measuring 100 inches or more in length. Furthermore, we’d like to inform you that we will no longer accept shipments exceeding 161 inches, although this exclusion does not affect pole vaults. We remain committed to being the preferred shipping partner for pole vaulters and supporting you in your competitions!”

This is incredibly exciting news, especially with the Olympic year upon us and countless pole vaulters aiming for Olympic gold in 2024. Once more, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Southwest Airlines for their unwavering support. Vaulter Magazine has recently featured an article in the Arkansas issue, highlighting the tremendous backing received from Southwest Airlines.
