With facilities and the potential for competitions up in the air, indoor track and field coaches have more questions than answers as to how the season will work
The tentative start date for the winter sports season in Connecticut is less than a month away, and for indoor track and field coaches, there are more questions than answers.
Many of the sport’s competitions are held at colleges and universities. With schools looking to lower the risk of spreading the virus on campus, it’s unlikely they’ll allow high school sports to compete on their tracks. Coaches are also unsure if competitions can be held at all this winter, and are beginning to view the indoor season as merely a window to prepare for the spring.
