BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – WKU Track & Field tacked on three additional third-place finishes on Sunday as it wrapped up its indoor season at the 2021 Conference USA Indoor Track & Field Championships. Sophomore Grace Turner tied for third in the high jump with a personal best while graduate senior Marlowe Mosley took home the bronze medal in both the 200 and 400-meter dashes.
“For Grace to go out and jump a lifetime best today was outstanding,” said Chumbley on the sophomore. “She has essentially had no practice in the event this season and she exceeded expectations by making that jump and getting to the podium, in her pole vault spikes no less. I’m incredibly proud of her.”
