GOLIAD – Skylar Hall had an unusual request after winning the pole vault at the Districts 29/30-2A area meet with the best mark in the state this season.
Hall wanted a Blizzard from Dairy Queen, even though she knew the request would be denied since she still had to run in the 100-meter hurdles and a leg on Woodsboro’s 800-meter relay.
Hall, a senior, broke the school record and set a personal best by clearing 12 feet, 7 inches Tuesday at Tiger Field.
