CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Western Washington University senior Anna Paradee finished with a no height in the pole vault at the NCAA Division II Track & Field Outdoor Championships on Thursday at the Irwin Belk Complex on the campus of Johnson C. Smith University.
Paradee (Tacoma, WA/Decatur) attempted at the opening height of 3.65m (11-11 ¾) and was one of eight competitors to finish with a no height. Slippery Rock’s Courtney McQuaide won the national title with a height of 3.95m (12-11 ½) to edge Missouri Southern’s Emily Presley, the two-time defending champion, on a fewer misses tiebreaker.
