XI’AN, China, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) — A total of 6 athletes “flow” over the 600-year-old ancient city wall and 13th National Games third place finisher Yao Jie claimed the title of pole vault with 5.41 meters at the China Athletic Street Tour (CAST) here on Sunday.
The competition held in the barbican of Anding Gate (the west gate) of Ming Dynasty city wall in Xi’an. Two female and four male players attended the match including two-time National Games champion Xue Changrue and national record holder Li Ling.
